Harlem Hip Hop (H3) Tours

DESCRIPTION:

The HOT 97 Experience Tour provides guests with unprecedented access to the world’s most recognizable hip-hop radio brand. This unforgettable tour features a behind-the-scenes look at the people and places responsible for HOT 97.  HOT 97 was born in 1992 and has been the premiere outlet for the hottest music and news in the hip-hop and R&B community ever since. HOT 97 has become a nationally recognized brand spawning a number of sister stations across the country.

Guests on this tour will learn about the early days of HOT 97 and the marketing, advertising, sales and promotion functions that are key to the business of radio. Guests will also go inside production studios to learn about sound effect techniques, commercials, and recorded promotions.  For participants truly interested in hip-hop and radio production, there is also an opportunity to apply for an internship with HOT 97.
