Hip Hop Culture Center
DESCRIPTION:
The Hip-Hop Culture Center is an interactive workshop that teaches guests about the origins of hip-hop culture. Guests break up into small groups where they learn about and use the four elements of hip hop (MCing, DJing, Breakdancing and Graffiti Art) to create a collage that tells their own artistic story.
The Workshop concludes with each group presenting their graffiti collage, hip-hop dance routine, and musical rap before a panel of judges (i.e. teachers, administrators, and chaperones) to determine which group was most creative. This hands-on workshop is truly a treat and engages participants from beginning to end.
